They say love is

Many splendid things

greatest refreshment in life

mutual self-giving which ends in self-recovery.

sacrifice

like water; We can fall in it. We can drown in it. And we can't live with out it.

3/4 dream and 1/4 reality

butterflies in your tummy

smiling retardedly while looking at your smses
above all, the gift of oneself

a rollar-coaster ride

Holding hands whenever the car stops at the red light.

Re-collecting all the wonderful times spent together

Going the extra mile

laying under the stars not saying anything

is like water; We can fall in it. We can drown in it. And we can't live with out it.

He says

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. --1 Corinthians 13:4-7

He says
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:12-13)

He says

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. (Leviticus 19:18)

He says

Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth. (1 john 3:18)

And he stretched out his arms and died on that cross.

Help me learn how to grasp the true meaning of love
Above all else,
help me learn to love you first
