Before i get started on the world's best camp group ( besides oceans 12 )

I learnt a whole lot in riverlife's youth camp.

My parents are now in that church so they wanted me to attend their youth camp.

Initially i agreed but after purity camp i was dreading it.

Not that i was tired but cause:

1. Lisa and I didnt know anyone there.

2. Attended 2 camps already, needed some time relaxing at home.

3.Lisa and I didnt know anyone there.

But wow. Thank God i went!

I am SO SO SO SO inspired by the love and compassion of the youth there.

They really welcomed the newcomers with wide open arms.

My leader took real good care of us. She introduced us to her friends and told them to watch out for us.

During prayer, random highlifers came up to pray for us.

Some just came up to us and said hi because they never seen us before.

OHHH Man! The awesome hospitality there is something i really want to bring back to speedlight.

The culture of love and acceptance is overwhelming.

And it is a culture i am sure God loves to see among his children :)

Oh and did i mention how fantastic my group mates were?

The moment we stepped into our groups, they were all going crazy and high already.

Before i went for the camp, i prayed to God and trusted him that he will put us in good hands.

The most interesting thing of the camp is....................

I found my LONG LOST BROTHER! :)

LOOOK! Doesn't he looks like my brother!! GOSH

When i showed my camp mates my real brothers picture they GASPED.

HAHAHA.

The similarities besides their looks.

1. The way they dress

2. Plays clarinet and base clarinet in band

3. Both got scratched during the camp on their hand

4. His name is yong sheng, my bro's hwa sheng

5. The way he calls me jie ( exactly the way my brother calls me )

6. Both super siao and high!

7. Both can cam-whore very well.

8. Both very VAIN.

Lisa and I couldnt take it. Like as tho my brother followed me to the camp too.

HAHA!

So glad to have know you ys.

Now i have TWO BROTHERS:)

should bring them out together one day. HAHAH

I tell you we laughed like mad the whole camp.

I am quite sure i have abs now.

OH! my bestie received the gift of tongues during the camp!

I am so blessed to see how God has been so real in her life.

While praying together with her, God gave her what she desired over the months :)

she suddenly cried and turn to me with such joy.

We hugged. she teared. I cried.

Its so amazing to see the hands of God moving.

After the camp, went for dinner with my REAL brother and parents.

Even after 3 camps, I am still alive and kicking!

In fact super recharged and convicted to do more things for God.

Strengthen the friendships i have made, cherish the existing ones.

Learn to love the way God loves.

Preparing for another camp tmr!
This camp will be something very new to me.
It will require all of my socialising ability!
HAHAHAH

Thought i will be super tired but nooooooooooo.
I'm still up and going!
yay thank God for the strength that he bestowed upon me :)

Will definitely come back stronger, more refreshed and deeply rooted!

Purity camp was capital AA-MAZINGGGG.
I learnt so so so so much from the devotions, work shop and sermons.
How we should all make a conscious effort to be pure in our actions, speech , mind.
But the selfish human nature robs our innocence.
Deceives the mind to carry ulterior motives, impure intentions.
That's when we really need God in our lives to purify us.
Give us the strength and bonus to not only fight our battles but reign over them.
Because we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus

The pnw was really excellent too.
The presence of God was so strong and evident.
There was no hurry, we took the sweet unhurried time to soak in God's presence.

Besides all the spiritual food, the group bonding was awesome.
every group really took pride in their flags, cheers and gave their all during games.( which was fantastic too! )

HAHA! our group was super zai in games i tell you!

really zai to the max! and thus we won $40 minds cafe vouchers for the best games group!

The prize was really app because we were thinking of organising a group outing soon already.

I love everyone of them so dearly.

The new friendships i made, i want to continue to strengthen them

Because they are all so lovable! The girls would stay up and talk about anything.

laugh at stupid things, and how blur Sandy and Joanne get all the time.

OHH MAN i really missed the time spent together already! :(
I personally had so so much fun playing and bonding with my team!

I tell you this is my fav guy in the group.

He is RIDICULOUSLY hilarious. No no hilarious is a understatement.

And he is so easy to get along with.

HAHAHA! SUPER sporty, always teaching us how to act cute.

During the preparation of our musical, he kept saying and DOING funny things.

The girls just kept laughing non-stop.

I really enjoyed being around her because she is very much like me.

Its a beautiful thing, how strangers in speedlight can bond so well after a camp.

Like I have seen joanne around but never really got the chance to know or talk to her.

Its really amazes me, the friendships we could make in speedlight :)

PA PA JOHN'S BIG DAY.
I cant believe he is officially married.
I was super duper ultra happy for him because we knew what he went through before he finally found the one :)

Some of you might oppose the idea of finding THE ONE.
I just know God will give you THE BEST.
someone who complements you, love you, cherish you, brings out the best in you.
lynn, rach and I almost teared when we saw shirley walking in.
That moment was really ZEEEE MOMENT.

I always like to peer at the husband's expression when his bride is walking in.
I love to see those intense and longing eyes while the bride walks to his side.
You know that kinda chemistry between the couple?
